"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path."
The Psalms 119:105

"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
Hebrews 10:25

"For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love."
2 Peter 1:5-7

"..but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
Isaiah 40:31

God's Plan of Salvation

  • Hear: Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
  • Believe: Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized, will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
  • Repent: Luke 13:3 I tell you no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
  • Confess: Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
  • Baptism: Acts 2:38-39 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
  • Faithfulness: 1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
  • Be Steadfast: Colossians 1:22-23 But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel.

“Finally, brothers, good-by.
Aim for perfection,
listen to my appeal,
be of one mind,
live in peace.
And the God of love and peace will be with you…

…May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,
and the love of God,
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit
be with you all.”

2 Corinthians 13:11,14
