Band members include local talents such as:

  JOANNE LIGGAN has been performing in the Richmond area for over 20 years, first harmonizing with "Phil Johnson and a Touch of Class," and then as owner and star of "Jo's Karaoke." She helps add the southern twang to the harmonizing vocals of this versatile band.

  RICHARD JOHNSON is among the most talented bass players in Virginia. He has played with some of the top bands in Northern Virginia and "HEARTS AFIRE" feels lucky to have him as a member of the group. His backup vocals add to the fabulous harmony of this group.

  JERRY LIGGAN, among the most talented lead guitar players to play on stage in the Richmond area, is a main staple in the band. His leadership is the glue that holds the band together.

  JIMMY TRAYLOR, drummer and vocalist, has played with a number of local area bands. He is now the heartbeat of "HEARTS AFIRE," keeping them in step with a good steady rhythm.

  The saxophone player on these selections is our good friend, Tommy Clarke, who passed away in July 2007. He is sorely missed.
